I have extensive hands-on experience maintaining OpenStreetMap data for a multi-campus university, along with 30 years of professional experience in graphic design and illustration. I can combine the detailed technical know-how of OSM map construction with a designer’s eye to visual order, hierarchy, typography, aesthetics, and intent. At the same time I can leverage the familiarity with your map data for other map-intensive projects like visitor guides and directional signage.

Service Categories

• OSM map correction: Correcting simple errors (less than 10) in existing OSM data; flat fee

• Property/facility mapping: Creating and tagging a single location of 1–5 structures and adjacent access paths; flat fee

• Campus/institutional OSM content audit: Detailed survey of your existing OSM content identifying areas of improvement and data accuracy; variable based on size of property. Estimate provided.

• Large campus/facilities mapping and data development: complex and potentially long term project that will require a scope analysis and detailed estimate. This project includes the audit in the previous category.

• OSM maintenance plan: additional option that can be included in the previous estimate to act as a retainer for quarterly updates or potentially urgent updates (construction detours or special event modifications for example)
