Let’s animate it

Here’s my first stab at a 3D animation out of Blender. I took a model I made for a static image and tried out some simple rotation and camera move. I still have loads to learn, but combining 3D and 2D motion graphics together is where I want to go next with my bag of tricks.

While this has University of Rochester branding at the end, it was never published while I was there. It was meant for a sizzle reel of sorts.

Spec animation of an Adam Frank paper about encasing a rubble asteroid in a bag and then spinning it to create a surface for structures. He’s a cool guy.
